Ocular Diseases and Their Relationship to Anatomy: Identify and describe basic ocular diseases and how the diseases impact the patient's vision. Learn the precautions patients should take to prevent disease and injury. Learn what a staff member should do after learning about a patients symptoms. 2. Optical Principles of Contact Lenses: This lesson will provide basic knowledge of contact lenses. Identify the purpose of different types of contact lenses, understand contact lens materials and design, and be able to identify the basic fitting characteristics of contact lenses. Understand how the designs of contact lenses benefit the patient.
