Course overview

In this course, participants will distinguish skilled from non skilled statements in treatment encounter notes and what are the commonly denied documentation that does not show skills of a therapist. Therapists will be able to differentiate between functional deficits and underlying impairments, with key points to document skill for each. Learn to write well documented and defensible therapy notes that show why YOU were required to provide services. Justify and document the complexity of your PT or OT skills in such a manner that supports the necessity of your treatment plans. Are you showing skill or does your documentation need an upgrade.
