Mastering Veterinary Phone Communication: From Etiquette to Effective Triage ON DEMAND
Tracking # 20-1299997
Course overview
No matter who answers the call this is often the first point of contact for clients, making phone communication a critical part of delivering excellent service. Setting a great first impression and getting the call started on a positive note are key. The next step is leading the conversation and directing the client to where they need to go, essentially triaging each call and determining the next steps. Reasons for the call can vary. It's our job to actively listen in order to uncover the main concern then direct them to where they need to be. Before triaging the call, we need to master a few basic skills to help us deliver clear, confident communication, in order to build client trust. Because when our clients trust us, they treat us better AND they are more likely to follow our recommendations. This webinar will cover essential phone etiquette to ensure every client interaction is professional, compassionate, and efficient. We'll also dive into more advanced skills, including phone triage techniques, to help team members confidently assess urgent situations, provide clear guidance, and support both clients and veterinary teams effectively.
