Learner Objectives: As a result of having attended the meeting, the participants should have had the opportunity to: 1. Identify clinical signs and imaging criteria distinguishing benign periarticular MS DCS from bone-involving forms that may progress to dysbaric osteonecrosis (DON). 2. Understand the diagnostic value of MRI in assessing intraosseous edema and determining the optimal timing for imaging after a diving accident. 3. Describe appropriate therapeutic and follow-up measures, including the role of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), in cases of MS DCS with suspected or confirmed bone involvement. 4. The reader is acquainted with the latest scientific information on respiratory fitness for occupational purposes diving. 5. The reader understands when to consider additional tests for respiratory diseases while evaluating the respiratory fitness of divers.
