Course overview

This course equips nursing home nurses with the essential skills to respond to cardiac emergencies using Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Focused on the unique needs of long-term care environments, the training covers how to recognize signs of cardiac arrest, perform high quality CPR, and operate an AED effectively and safely.
