This course outlines the Infection Control Plan while emphasizing proper tactics to minimize exposures and how to respond if an accidental exposure occurs. Suggested Audience: All healthcare personnel, especially those at higher exposure risk to infectious disease in the workplace, as well as compliance and risk leaders. Upon completion of this presentation, you should be able to: Apply safe work practices and hand hygiene techniques Recognize biohazard signs Select the correct actions to take in the event of accidental exposure Learning Outcomes Standard: Based upon industry standards, best practices and infection control guidance provided by Centers of Disease Control and Prevention.
