Course overview

As a result of participating in this activity the learner will be able to: Identify clinical data that influences current and emerging evidence-based clinical guidelines for the disease/condition being presented; Formulate the differential diagnosis of the condition presented; Examine the use of new therapies and techniques; Select the types of patients who will best benefit from the treatment strategies under discussion; Identify Adverse Effects (AE) and safety issues related to the patient's plan of care; Examine communication strategies to improve patient and provider collaboration; Evaluate the system-based processes to improve clinical outcomes.
