Course overview
This is a 2-hour course addresses signs and symptoms and risk factors of, and preventative methods for, abuse and neglect of children and vulnerable adults including adults who are elderly and/or have disabilities. It is separated into three sections, to include information about abuse and neglect of children, abuse and neglect of elderly adults, and abuse and neglect of adults with disabilities. This course is written by Gwendolyn Green, LMHC MCAP LPC, co-owner and director of education of AA Ross Counseling, and is a licensed mental health clinician in Florida, Washington, and West Virginia.
