Course overview

This course meets the Massachusetts physical therapist (PT) and physical therapist assistant (PTA) two-hour ethics and jurisprudence requirement. In this course, you will gain an understanding of how to prevent and resolve ethical dilemmas using the American Physical Therapy Association's standards of ethics and professionalism. Then, you will review elements of the Code of Massachusetts Regulations (CMR) relevant to the practice of physical therapy. Requirements for licensure renewal and continuing competency and the supervision of PTAs, students, and aids are presented.
