Course overview
Upon completion of this course, the participant will learn how to maintain professional boundaries by utilizing male and female draping techniques that ensure the safety, comfort, and privacy of the patient, communicate effectively with patients and learn how to establish rapport, define scope of practice as it relates to the massage therapist, and gain knowledge regarding medical record keeping and confidentiality of client record. An overview of the NCBTMB's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice as well as HIPAAs Privacy Rule are also included in the instruction.
