CPN: Pediatric Clinical Conditions - Trauma

Course overview

This course prepares pediatric nurses for the Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) exam by covering the assessment and management of pediatric trauma, including head, thoracic, and abdominal injuries, fractures, burns, drowning, and electrical injuries. Nurses will learn to recall key pediatric-specific anatomical and physiological differences from adults that impact trauma assessment and management and be able to recognize the signs, symptoms, and appropriate nursing interventions for common pediatric trauma scenarios to ensure timely and effective care.
