Course overview
Chronic pain, the addictions, self-harm, depression, eating disorders emotional liability, anxiety, insomnia, asthma, digestive disturbances and cardiovascular illnesses are rooted in a history of early life trauma in at least 70% of our clients. We will explore the psychobiological and psycho-physiological effects of trauma on physical and mental health in order to improve the efficacy of our treatments. We will also explore in depth, the concepts and application of circadian and circadian rhythm, specific, flexible protocols that incorporate nutritional and botanical interventions as well as some specific hands on techniques. We will examine how trauma affects interpersonal relationships including boundaries and interpersonal challenges.
