Course overview

This course is designed specifically for chiropractors seeking to optimize their ethical coding and documentation practices. Participants will gain comprehensive insights into the latest ICD-10 update, evaluation and management (E/M) coding, chiropractic manipulative treatment (CMT) codes and therapy procedures. The program covers critical areas including ICD-10 coding conventions and updates relevant to chiropractic practice, diagnostic coding for common chiropractic conditions, evaluation and management coding guidelines, proper documentation of CMT and therapy procedures, understanding and applying appropriate CPT modifiers, and diagnostic test coding. Participants will learn practical skills to confidently select and support the correct diagnostic and procedural codes, minimize audit risks through proper documentation and understand payer expectations and documentation guidelines. By the end of this course, chiropractors will have the knowledge and tools to enhance their clinical documentation, improve coding accuracy, and reduce potential compliance risks.
