Course overview
In this class you will learn how to safely massage your pregnant clients. Many myths surround prenatal massage and you will learn what is fact and what is fiction. You'll learn contraindications, positioning and draping. This class includes a hands on practicum. You'll identify what muscles and ligaments are most commonly affected and you'll be able to assist your clients with these problematic areas. Please bring a set of sheets, massage oil or cream, two bed pillows, three pillowcases, and writing materials.
