Course overview

When considering testing for respiratory diseases, there are multiple guidelines to determine who should be tested and for which disease. The Infectious Diseases Society of America has guidelines for influenza testing, COVID-19 testing, and community-acquired pneumonia. By understanding the guidelines, one can run the necessary tests to have the best medical impact. Diagnostic stewardship involves using the right test at the right time for the right patient. This webinar will discuss guidelines and factors to improve the test ordering of infectious diseases and other conditions.
