Course overview

I've got my art supplies... what do I do next? We get it, grad school didn't prepare us for the real world...the one where clients don't like to TALK or do WORKSHEET all the time! Introducing art into therapy sounds like a good idea, until you realize you just don't know how to incorporate art into grief, loss and trauma work. The Got Art? Series will help alleviate those frustrations and get you on track for creating with your clients. This module focuses on the how to build in CCPT and directive skills into therapy services with children, tweens and teens for grief, loss and trauma. Models of therapy, including CCPT, Adlerian and CBT will be interwoven into the workshop. Directive and non-directive approaches will be shared as well as ways to integrate into the art, play, sandtray or traditional talk therapy office. This is an interactive video - please bring art supplies to create alongside the presenter!
