Course overview

This course is intended for healthcare professionals who evaluate and treat clients with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries. This course discusses the mechanism of injury and risk factors of an ACL rupture and the subsequent surgical and rehabilitation approaches for safe return to sport. This course utilizes evidence-based practice for optimal ACL rehabilitation in order to reduce the risk of reinjury following surgery and rehabilitation. Additionally, this course evaluates existing prevention strategies to minimize the athletes risk of an ACL injury.
