Course overview
Parkinson's disease (PD) is often recognized by its hallmark motor symptoms of tremors, bradykinesia, and rigidity. However, comprehensive diagnosis is not always straightforward. This course equips learners with the knowledge and clinical reasoning skills to differentiate PD from various mimicking conditions. Participants will dive into the pathophysiology of PD and explore comprehensive, advanced physical assessment techniques, critical judgment, and reasoning when considering diagnostic imaging and laboratory findings. This is an opportunity to examine an unfolding case study and uncover the latest evidence-based strategies to support patients and their families through this journey.
