IBCLC: Infant Development and Nutrition for Lactation Consultants

Course overview
This course covers critical topics such as feeding behaviors across different ages, food intolerances and allergies, infant anatomical challenges, and WHO guidelines for introducing complementary foods. Additionally, participants will explore the nutritional needs of both term and preterm infants, low birth weight management, milk banking, and normal infant growth patterns, all while integrating the use of WHO growth charts and monitoring stooling and voiding behaviors. The goal of this course is to prepare learners for the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) exam.
