Clinical Research in Integrative Oncology: Challenges and Solutions

Course overview

Research for adjunctive therapies is needed to confirm benefits of non-conventional therapies in conventional settings, investigate efficacy of new treatments, challenge theories and ideas about what treatments are helpful and which are not, challenge conventional oncology treatments, and determine if non-conventional therapies, such as acupuncture, is an effective and safe treatment for side effects related to conventional treatment.
