Course overview

This 2-hour course will review glaucoma medications, laser trabeculoplasty, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). Medication mechanism of action, efficacy, and safety/contraindication profile will be covered, including the newest drug entries to the market. A systematic strategy for stepped medication will be provided, and the role/sequence of laser trabeculoplasty will be discussed (LiGHT trial, COAST trial, and Direct SLT). MIGS procedures will be presented, covering different types of procedures, indications, complications, and efficacy.
