Course overview

Course gives students overview of typical real estate transaction from listing to close. Students will use WV Licensing Laws as a guide to protecting the public from misrepresentation, fraud and undisclosed dual agency. Students will model fair and honest dealings wit all. Will implement duties clients, customers, duties to the public and to other licensees. Students will comply with the Lead Based Paint Hazard Reduction Act 1992. Will resolve earnest money disputes. Will examine case studies of transactions, closings, property disclosure and transaction closing process. Will explain home inspections and loan process. Licensee will take steps to eliminate practices that damage the public. Will determine that the term licensee stands for integrity, competency and fairness.
