Course overview
This 1 hour CEU course will teach about neuromodulation using spinal cord stimulation in persons with spinal cord injury. Two physical therapists who are experts at treating patients with these stimulators will present what the stimulator is, how it works, and how it is implanted. Then they will focus specifically on the benefits seen from using a spinal cord stimulator and how we can both maximize and utilize those improvements in physical therapy treatment. Case studies will be presented and a variety of different interventions for occupational and physical therapists to consider will be presented.
