Tracking # 20-1311765
Course overview
Saam Five Element Acupuncture is a meridian-based acupuncture system originating in Korea. It focuses on achieving a holistic and systematic balance of organ functions rather than merely stimulating local lesions. This is accomplished by combining Five Element acupuncture points. There are various styles of Saam Acupuncture for selecting the target meridian. My approach utilizes a three-dimensional method. 1) The meridian pathway related to the symptom area. 2) The Zang-Fu system according to Five Element theory. 3) Disease patterns (Deficiency or Excess) based on the Six Energy system. This lecture aims to provide a comprehensive overview of Saam Acupuncture based on literature reviews and to elucidate its clinical applications in Korea.
