Telehealth for Creative Therapists

Course overview

Through this course the participant will learn about origins and current uses of technology to implement therapy with various populations. Participants will gain understanding of the limitations and opportunities presented through use of telehealth. Participants will be able to implement appropriate HIPAA compliant therapy to clients using telehealth platforms. Participants will understand ways to implement creative directives successfully without being face-to-face. Participant will be able to more effectively establish appropriate therapeutic connection with a client via telehealth. Participants will better be able to identify clients for which telehealth is inappropriate.
