Course overview
THIS COURSE PROVIDES HEALTHCARE WORKERS WITH ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE ON FUNGAL INFECTIONS AND OTHER COMMON SKIN CONDITIONS, FOCUSING ON THEIR PHYSIOLOGY, IDENTIFICATION, AND MANAGEMENT. THIS COURSE EXPLORES THE CLINICAL PRESENTATION OF CANDIDIASIS, DERMATOPHYTOSIS, AND OTHER INFECTIOUS AGENTS, AS WELL AS VIRUSES THAT CAN CONTRIBUTE TO SECONDARY SKIN INFECTIONS. THE COURSE EMPHASIZES EVIDENCE-BASED APPROACHES, TREATMENT STRATEGIES, AND INFECTION CONTROL MEASURES TO ENHANCE PATIENT CARE AND OUTCOMES.
