This live webinar is designed to educate healthcare and administrative professionals on the behavioral patterns and psychological traits of individuals with antisocial and psychopathic personalities - traits which, while often undetected, can create serious disruptions in healthcare environments, including long-term care facilities. Participants will learn how to recognize red flags associated with manipulative and dangerous individuals who may infiltrate professional settings, posing threats to staff morale, resident safety, and operational stability. The course explores the distinction between Antisocial Personality Disorder, sociopathy, and psychopathy, and how these characteristics may manifest among colleagues, employees, or even residents. In addition to foundational knowledge, the course includes a focused discussion on psychopaths in the workplace, supporting Nursing Home Administrators in identifying toxic behavioral patterns and making informed supervisory decisions. A crisis awareness segment addresses high-risk individuals such as mass shooters or serial offenders, not to suggest diagnostic responsibilities, but to promote proactive awareness and response planning in the context of emergency preparedness and staff safety protocols.
