This course will emphasize the neurobiology associated with pain transmission and electroanalgesia. A research-based perspective will be offered to guide the clinician in choosing the most efficacious electrotherapy treatments to modulate pain and muscle spasm. Lastly, the use of electrotherapy to prevent or reduce edema will b e discussed.
