Course overview

Pharmacists play a vital and evolving role in hematology/oncology care, with growing evidence showing that pharmacist involvement in patient care improves personalized care and monitoring and managing adverse events; however, ensuring these outcomes are realized requires appropriate training and education so that clinical pharmacists, employed in a variety of settings, can perform integrated care functions. This is especially true for patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) multiple myeloma (MM) who are treated with bispecific antibodies. These drugs with differing mechanisms of action, have a unique set of toxicities that require nuanced monitoring and management. This learning hub provides pharmacists with the education and resources needed to effectively translate the latest evidence into multidisciplinary clinical practice and improve patient outcomes.
