The goal of this educational activity is to inform and equip managed care and specialty pharmacists with the knowledge, competence, and confidence they need to recognize managed care and specialty pharmacists on rare, severe forms of epilepsy, including Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS), Dravet syndrome (DS), and tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC); the role of cannabidiol in treating these drug-resistant forms of epilepsy; and best practices for incorporating safe, effective use of cannabidiol to improve care and outcomes for patients with uncontrolled epilepsy.
