Course overview

MCVMA is hosting a virtual conference on November 22, 2025 reprising speakers from the two previous RISE conferences. This is one of a kind conference is still the only veterinary conference in history to intentionally feature all BIPOC or Black, Indigenous, and People of Color presenters. The purpose of MCVMA's RISE conference is to: Resource the veterinary profession with the information and tools necessary to take meaningful action on issues of racial diversity, equity, and inclusion Include the perspectives of people and communities who have historically been underrepresented in veterinary medicine Support current and emerging veterinary professionals in our collective goal to ensure that all communities receive the benefits of veterinary medicine Elevate the voices of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in veterinary medicine.
