Course overview
This course will review vestibular neuroscience and anatomy as well as the functional implications of vestibular dysfunction. Characteristics of vertigo in peripheral and central pathology will be discussed as well as the importance of conducting a thorough subjective history. This course will also include oculomotor testing and interpretation and will discuss four different exercise components to address vestibular peripheral hypofunction to include gaze stabilization, habituation, balance and endurance training exercises.
