INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL: A GUIDE FOR TRAVELING HEALTHY
Tracking # 20-392405
Course overview
The World Health Organization reports that more than 900 million international journeys are taken every year, with 1.6 billion predicted annually by 2020. Travel on this scale puts people at risk for infectious diseases they would not usually encounter. Taking precautions before, during and after travel can minimize many of these risks. Healthcare providers in all types of outpatient settings are in key positions to help patients assess risk associated with travel and ensure their health abroad.
