Documentation Made Easy: Simplifying Progress Notes, Treatment Planning, and Goal Setting

Course overview

Does it seem like many things that you learned about documentation, treatment planning, and goal setting are distant memories? Maybe you need a refresher on these important yet sometimes overlooked areas of clinical documentation. This workshop will prepare learners to develop methods of structured and effective documentation using acronyms such as SOAP, BIRP, and DAP. The fundamentals of treatment planning and goal setting using the SMART model will be discussed, and learners will be challenged to develop treatment goals as practice in the training. The "Gold Standard" recommendations for suicide risk management documentation will also be reviewed.
