Trauma sensitive movement is an embodied approach that integrates somatic techniques to regulate the nervous system and enhance self awareness. This presentation will explore how trauma sensitive movement practices can be used in psychotherapy to restore a sense of safety, connection, and self agency within the body. We will discuss practical movement tools and key somatic techniques and how to adapt these approaches to meet each clients individual needs.
