Course overview
This advanced course consists of 2.75 hours of virtual teaching completed over zoom (or similar) with live instruction. During this time, therapists will review new software features learned previously in an online learning module (time is not included in this course) and get into the EksoNR themselves to feel and experience the new features. The target population is physical therapists who are using the Ekso Bionics exoskeleton, the EksoNR with GaitCoach. During this training, therapists will learn new software settings that allows for further customization to address a variety of gait impairments and goals. At completion of this course, participating therapists will be fully confident and competent at using the expanded GaitCoach+ software that will allow them to gait train patients that would not be able to do so without this technology. Therapists will also have a broader understanding of gait training including how to customize treatment, add resistance, and encourage appropriate mechanics during intense walking sessions.

Each therapist who is offered this course has access to an Ekso Bionics exoskeleton purchased or rented by their current employer.
