Course overview

Mesenchymal tumors, including soft tissue sarcomas, hemangiosarcoma, and osteosarcoma, pose unique diagnostic and treatment challenges in veterinary oncology. This lecture explores the cytologic and histologic characteristics of sarcomas, as well as their biologic behavior, metastatic patterns, and implications for staging. Attendees will learn how to assist with advanced diagnostics, recognize the nuances of the different treatment option, and manage patient care with a focus on comfort and mobility.
