Cultivating compassion can have a far-reaching ripple effect. Leading with compassion takes courage, but it has become more essential than ever to reduce burnout and retain talent. This course guides participants through techniques to increase their self-awareness and improve their understanding of emotional intelligence. The session focuses on active listening and creating a safe space to communicate with care. Leaders are asked to balance care and concern for their teams with maintaining productivity and success measures--and it is possible to have both! Objectives: After completing this course, participants will be able to: 1. Differentiate stress versus stressors and their effect on bodies, emotions and behaviors. 2. Identify ways to cultivate compassion for oneself and others. 3. Discover ways to demonstrate courage and overcome fear by cultivating compassion that can be incorporated into daily practice.
