Workplace violence is a growing concern across all healthcare settings - from hospitals and long-term care facilities to outpatient clinics and home health environments. Nurses and other healthcare workers face higher risks of physical assault, verbal abuse, intimidation, and harassment than almost any other profession. This course provides a deep dive into the realities, risk factors, and prevention strategies for workplace violence in healthcare. It explores how violence manifests in clinical environments, how organizational culture and leadership influence safety, and what regulatory guidelines require of healthcare providers and institutions.
