Course overview

Dry needling consideration for the active adult and athlete course is a self-paced home study course that will develop the knowledge and clinical skills required to effectively assess and dry needling people who are competitive athletes and regular exercisers. This course will teach the participant to treat the body for painful conditions and general sports related recovery through a better understanding of neuroinflammation and the autonomic nervous system as it relates to exercise. This course is built on the foundation of the Integrative Dry Needling Institute of dry needling concepts with an in-depth assessment of the local and systemic effects of needling as it pertains to the athlete.

website where they can purchase dry needling supplies. IDN, nor any of the

instructors, have a financial ownership interest in this or any vendor. In return for the

website exposure, the vendor provides needles for use in the courses. Other vendor

options to purchase supplies are also provided during the weekend. The following is
