Update to Immunization Training for Pharmacy Technicians (2nd Ed. 2025-2028)

0202-0000-25-196-H06-T / This educational experience is designed to reinforce the pharmacy technician's knowledge, skills, and confidence in providing vaccinations to improve patient care. It provides comprehensive instruction, updates on the best practices in immunization administration, regulatory authorizations for administration, and strategies to improve immunization rates. As the practice of pharmacy evolves, the advancement of pharmacy technician roles follow suit. This training is a refresher to supplement the original Pharmacy-Based Immunization Administration by Pharmacy Technicians 6-hour training program. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be able to print out a certificate of completion from this course, which, in combination with the original certificate of completion, will be good for a period of 3 years from the date of completion of the refresher program. NOTE: If this training is completed as a stand-alone product and not in conjunction with the aforementioned 6-hour course, learners may claim the continuing education credit but are not considered to have completed a training program to administer vaccines.
