Tendinopathy Management Course Description: This is a face to face conference that will provide evidence based information on the management of tendinopathy. A re-view of the histology and a classification model of tendinopathy will be discussed, with observation of tendons through the display of musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging. The foundations of conservative rehabilitation for tendinopathy will be taught. Medical management and rehabilitation management principles will be taught for specific tendinopathy that often occurs in the athlete. Use of modalities used in rehabilitation will be shared, along with case examples of athletes treated for tendinopathy. Learning Objectives *Identify the stages of tendinopathy and when rehabilitation may be most effective *Identify appropriate loading principles for rehabilitation of tendinopathy *Recognize appropriate conservative and medical management interventions for the treatment specific tendinopathy in the upper and lower extremities *Understand how specific rehabilitation modalities can be beneficial in the treatment of athletes with tendinopathy Upper Extremity Injury Management Course Description: This is a face to face conference that will provide a variety educational opportunities designed specifically for clinicians that work with and treat shoulder, elbow, and hand pathologies. The didactic learning is designed to give the clinician approaches to evaluating and managing tendon, ligamentous, and joint issues of the upper extremity. Information will be evidence based and include practice guidelines for surgical and non surgical management the shoulder, elbow, and hand. Learning Objectives: *Recognize the evidence on how what treatment interventions may be beneficial upper extremity orthopaedic pathologies. *Define current best practice in surgical versus non-surgical intervention for upper extremity
