Diagnostic Discussion, a column of Today's FDA, is contributed alternately by University of Florida College of Dentistry professors Dr. Lauren Smolenski, Dr. Nadim Islam, Dr. Indraneel Bhattacharyya and Dr. Sumita Sam provide insight and feedback on common, important, new, and challenging oral diseases. The dental professors operate a large, multi-state biopsy service.
