Malibu CEU Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #18091, for 1 contact hour. Sexual harassment is an ongoing concern in all industries, including healthcare. Licensed professionals face not only legal and ethical mandates to prevent and report harassment, but also a cultural obligation to protect both colleagues and patients from misconduct. This course provides healthcare-specific education to help nurses and allied professionals understand what constitutes sexual harassment, how to respond, and how to help create a safe, respectful clinical environment. It is designed to meet the minimum training requirements for Illinois' mandatory sexual harassment prevention law (Section 2-109 of the Illinois Human Rights Act), while also preparing participants to identify, respond to, and prevent harassment in healthcare settings.
