Course overview

Description: Mastering Dry Brushing is a fun 3 hour CE course that covers a lot more than just brushing the skin. Students will learn how to use at least three different products to learn how to effectively dry brush the entire body. A & P of the skin will be covered. Product knowledge and use, directional patterns for a lymphatic drainage effect, and using in conjunction with other spa services or products will be covered. Homework will be given out before CE credits can be given. Once the instructor receives the homework, credits will be administered via digital certificate and CE Broker roster upload. Learning Outcomes: Students will demonstrate proficiency in: 1. Understanding the A & P of the skin 2. Identify indications and contraindications of a dry brushing service 3. Identify products/equipment that can be used to administer dry brushing 4. Understand the effects of dry brushing on the body from a lymphatic drainage function. 5. Learn at least 3 patterns for dry brushing the body 6. Perform dry brushing as an add-on or a stand alone service in conjunction with other spa treatments. Category: Spa Treatments

Disclosure statements

Hands-on activities include self scalp massage and one volunteer to practice on during the live class. Homework in the form of two (2) practice sessions will be required to turn in to the instructor before full CE credit hours are given. Failure to turn in practice sessions will mean a delayed or non-award of CE credits.

Once practice sessions are turned in, a roster will be uploaded to CE Broker within 48 hours and student will be notified via email from CE Broker that their account has been credited.

All subject material is in compliance with GA, FL, SC, TN, MI, VT, NH State Massage Boards and any state board that recognizes NCBTMB approved courses.
