Course overview
Using case studies of clients in art therapy in individual and bereavement-based programs, this presentation examines the relationship between grief and suffering in response to complicated grief. Through an existential perspective, the relationship between grief and preventative care is examined, particularly between the bereaved, group members, and deceased in the process of finding purpose after a loss. Art Therapy and psycho-education were used to provide an outlet for repressed grief-related symptoms.
