1. Describe the 4 different types of orthoses and when each would be indicated 2. Describe the common static orthoses used in the acute care trauma setting 3. Demonstrate competence in fabricating a CUWS, Ulnar Gutter and Posterior Elbow orthosis. 4. Demonstrate the key principles in fabricating an orthosis that is comfortable to minimize risk of joint stiffness.
