Course overview
This course will introduce the Optician that wishes to qualify for Board Certification to a wide variety of contact lens related knowledge. We will examine geometric Optics, anatomy and physiology, fit, pathology, follow-up care,and instrumentation. (Everything is following the Florida Statues 64B-12-14004 for 16 lecture hours and 4 hours of hands on instruction by the instructor.) Upon Conclusion of this course, dispensing opticians will be able to have a solid background on their road to understanding and fitting contact lens.
