A growing body of research highlights a troubling reality; while many parents believe their children are emotionally supported, fewer than 60% of U.S. teens report receiving adequate social and emotional care. This gap is linked to rising rates of anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation especially among adolescent girls. In today's digital world, factors such as social media, academic pressure, and a lack of emotional literacy have made it increasingly difficult for young people to maintain their mental health. However, research also shows that when kids develop resilience skills, they're better able to handle life's challenges, regulate their emotions, and thrive through adversity. This training provides clinicians, educators, and caregivers with practical, evidence-based strategies to strengthen children's emotional resilience, teaching healthy coping, while fostering open communication. You'll learn how to recognize risk factors, counter the impact of modern stressors like screen time and isolation, and empower families to raise mentally stronger kids at home, in school, and in therapy.
