Impairment in the workplace is a serious situation that can endanger the lives of patients as well as one's colleagues. This course is intended to familiarize pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with the various types of impairment that can affect their ability to perform their duties. This will also help pharmacy professionals to recognize impairment in themselves or a colleague and understand what they should do if they suspect that a colleague is practicing while impaired. This course is equivalent to one contact hour and can be accessed via computer or a mobile device.
